Brand new to the spirits industry, Kjersten Merila is already shaking things up…over ice.  Vodka’s the game, Her Spirit’s the name.  Kjersten, Owner and Co-founder of Her Spirit, believes the achievement of starting her own company and working on Her Spirit is incredible, but is outweighed by the rewarding feeling of contributing.  50% of the profits from Her Spirit will be given back to female entrepreneurs. Kjersten’s goal was to create something bigger than herself and have fun doing it.  When she’s not out creating a buzz for Her Spirit, she works full time in the Healthcare industry, spends time with her rescue pup, and works with her husband on how to take the Her Spirit brand to the next level.  Vodka will be released in the fall of 2017!

Each week, Her Spirit launches two podcasts called 'It's All About Her'.  Not only is there a check in with Kjersten, but these podcasts also highlight inspiring women entrepreneurs who share their story with all of us.  Below, you get small glimpse into this week's fierce female!

Check out the podcast on iTunes, or go to the Her Spirit Podcast page to listen!

Jeanna Simonson is the voice behind the Fiercely Fetching blog and the founder of the bracelet line, Karma Stacks.

Fiercely Fetching is a fun, lifestyle blog that touches on fashion, beauty and fitness. Readers get the inside scoop on what some of the best beauty products are, what local places are a must visit for food, spa services and sweat sessions.

Karma Stacks was born in 2016 after Jeanna was diagnosed with colon cancer. She needed a creative outlet that allowed her to feel fulfilled and also gave her the opportunity to give back. Every bracelet is created with love and intention and has unique meanings behind the stones. A portion of the proceeds are donated to cancer foundations.
